Certifications and Quality
The credential a prime filters on, and what sits behind it.

For most primes and Tier-1 suppliers, AS9100D is a gate rather than a preference — it appears in the approved-supplier criteria, and a quote from a supplier without it often does not get read.
What we hold
| Certification | Scope |
|---|---|
| AS9100D | Aerospace Quality Management System |
| ISO 9001:2015 | Quality Management System |
| Accreditation body | NVT Quality Certification, against an ANAB accreditation reference |
| Registrations | Start-up India certified · MSME · GeM portal |
Certificate numbers and validity dates are supplied on request with any enquiry. We would rather send them than publish them, and a supplier page that claims a standard without a number is asking to be taken on trust.
What AS9100D adds
AS9100D is built on ISO 9001:2015 and adds approximately 100 aerospace-specific requirements. Two additions in Revision D matter most when approving a machining supplier:
Product safety — planning and managing the processes needed to assure product safety across the lifecycle, including identification of safety-critical items and communication of them down the chain.
Counterfeit parts prevention — an explicit requirement to prevent counterfeit or suspect counterfeit parts entering the product. For a machining supplier this reaches into raw material traceability: where the bar stock came from, what certification travels with it, and whether that certification can be produced against a finished part months later.
Rev D also merged the standard's risk clause with ISO 9001's risk-based thinking rather than running the two in parallel. A fuller treatment is in what AS9100D adds to ISO 9001.
First article inspection
AS9100 Rev D clause 8.5.1.3 requires first article inspection to AS9102 when the customer invokes it. We plan the ballooning and the characteristic list alongside the process plan rather than after it — see first article inspection to AS9102.
Inspection behind the certificate
A quality system is a set of procedures; what verifies a part is measurement. Ours runs on a Mitutoyo CRYSTA-Apex V CMM in a temperature-controlled room, a LH-600 height gauge and a video measuring machine — all in the same building as the machines. See metrology and inspection.
