Everything on this page is read from our own equipment records. An engineer with a drawing is checking two things first — whether the part fits the machine, and whether the machine has the spindle and the tooling positions to cut it without three setups. The specifications are here so that question can be answered before a conversation starts.

The order work moves in
Drawing review. The model and the drawing are read together — bounding box, feature depths, tool access, the datum scheme and which characteristics are critical.
DFM feedback. If a feature is expensive for a reason that is not functional, we say so before quoting rather than after. A radius that forces a smaller cutter, a tolerance tighter than the assembly needs, a depth that requires a long tool where a second operation would be faster.
CAM and process planning. Setups, fixtures, tool list and the inspection routine are decided together, because the inspection method constrains the process plan more often than the reverse.
Production and inspection. Cutting, in-process probing, and dimensional verification on the CMM against the ballooned drawing.
What decides whether we quote
We would rather decline a job than quote it and discover the tolerance later. Send the model and the drawing and we will say plainly whether the feature set is inside what we hold.
